The New and The Old

Yep, I went to the drive in tonight.

If you are a fangirl of anything Marvel like my friend Alli, (You can click her name to go to her amazing blog. Go ahead, click, check it out, I'll wait)

*Ahem*

Oh yes, as I was saying, you know the picture above is from Iron Man 3. Funny thing is I have not seen one Marvel movie. I know, hiss hiss, but give me a break I'm not big into superheroes I am more of a princess girl. Of course I consider love this family of superheroes.

But I digress. Even with my lack of Marvel experience I quite enjoyed the movie. Especially the end when Pepper became quite a bad ass. Excuse my language but I could find no other way to describe it. Not only was every hair in place but she took down a Iron Man suit.

Bad Ass.

I must say the story was quite predictable and this was a disappointment. From the moment the crazy guy jumped in the elevator with Stark and his girl at that New Years Party I knew that he was going to be the bad guy. The drug addicted actor never threw me and I seriously believe that every single person in that compound thought the actor really was the terrorist. Only the necessary people knew the truth which was very smart on the blond evil mastermind dude's part. Can you tell yet I have a really bad time with names? Go see the movie you'll know who I am talking about/look at the guy in the picture above.

Two things did make this movie enjoyable, I did say I enjoyed it earlier remember?
  1. The action. Normally, I hate action scenes. Usually, in my mind, actions scenes are poorly choreographed. (Hence why I didn't like the Expendables) But, in Iron Man the scenes were very well choreographed, filmed well, and really sucked you in without making you wonder what was happening outside the shot. You know that feeling when the camera focuses on something and you wonder what else is going on outside of that? Well, I get that a lot and the filming and choreographing of the fights helped this feeling to go away. In other words, props to the behind the scenes crew of Iron Man.
  2. The thing with the Vice President. Go see the movie because if you have you will completely understand what I say next.

         Wow. Just wow.

The amount of a father's love but gosh darn it the corruption. THAT is the thing I did not
            expect.

Well, I am exhausted so this is where I say goodnight.

Welcome to Hell

Well hello people,

Well, I really don't know who I am talking to since I am not as awesome as my friend Alli whose blog, Shiznits, has 4K views. You can go here to find her blog. Go and read it. Her writing is amazing and she is truly an amazing person.

But enough of the shameless promotion of one of my closest friends, now onto the topic...

Hell. Yes, I currently live in it. What did I do to deserve it?

Nothing. But yet, I am here. But let's get more specific shall we?

My dad's house. Yes, I know, if you have read any of my past blogs he cut me off. Well, he cut me back on (is that a word or phrase? I don't know but we are going with it. cool? cool.)  My room that I am staying at over the summer is still be occupied and being the poor college student I am I couldn't rent another room and then move so I had to move home for three weeks.

It's been one week. And I've almost pulled my hair out 3 times. FML. But I swear I am not gonna dwell on this. I am just glad I have my fiancé, Chris. If I didn't have him to calm myself and my dad down over phone and facetime I don't know what I would do.

These are my pink die I got today. I am going to be playing Dungeons and Dragons a lot this summer since I will be living with a DM, AKA GOD, (she is rescuing me from hell for a fee of 600 bucks and its worth it) and I am super excited to make my own character. So I figured a good stress reliever would be to make my own D&D character w/o the rules just whatever I want for fun. This is going to be interesting since I still know very little about the game since I've only played 2 sessions but lets give it a whirl shall we?

Character Name: Lexi DunBroch(Yep I am awesome.)
Race: Elf
Identifying Feature: Long Curly Red Hair
Special Skill: Infatuating men ;)
Weapon: Bow&Arrows and Dagger
Special Item: Cordial with healing potion that never runs out.
Charisma: +20
Pet: A Female Pegasus named Fira that I can ride.

That is pretty much it at least all I can think of now. I will probably make out a real character sheet and post it on here. Goodnight <3
